Compelling and emotive.
Never underestimate what a woman can achieve.

A firm, forever favourite. It hits even harder now that I have been through the process first-hand: losing my sight, training with a Guide Dog, loving and losing her. Dogs are everything. Everything.
A Sofia Coppola masterwork.
Moody, subtle, intimate and observant, Priscilla gracefully navigates the (often) untold perspective of one of the most famous relationships of the 20th century. Cailee Spaeny's delicate portrayal captures the darker side of the fairytale: the control, the manipulation and the isolation.
The end scenes were rather anti-climactic and Priscilla's self-liberation could have been explored and amplified further.
Overall, a nuanced and beautiful film.
