  Wickerman through an immature inarticulate lens of an adolescent infatuated with the Wiccan drawings they scribbled down in middle school. Undeveloped characters meaninglessly thrown away, furious attempts to create substance through style that collapses on complete lack of plotting. Wait, why am I still even wasting words on this? Avoid.

  Petty parlor tricks masquerading as suspense. The unreliable narrator of the eponymous game cheapens the whole affair. Total Recall has more subtlety. Michael Douglas at least gives enough in the performance to make it watchable.

  Yes, Uncut Gems achieves at a high level. It might also trigger an anxiety attack. Great execution in a film that feels pretty formulaic at end of the day. The definition of pastiche. Something of an over-promise, under-deliver for me
