  Good movie overall. My main nitpick is that the real life references were a bit on the nose. I'm sure that's intentional, but I found it took away from the story at times rather than support or add to it.

  Everything about this movie is beautiful and feels like watching a painting from the era it's based in. This is a love story, probably one of the best enemies to lovers on screen, largely because the chemistry between the leads is undeniable, and the build up of their tension is so raw, impactful, lingering - even when it was just small moments between them. The movie went from good to great, partially because of the Bennets themselves, and the way this movie organically depicted themes of girlhood and family. This is a love story, one that has as much heart as it is a slow burn.
