  Couldn’t stop thinking about the interview where rob said he watched a lot of anime for prep. Really enjoyed the very literal and campy tone of this, especially after catastrophes like Don’t Look Up. Toni hitting that note during the dinner scene made me laugh harder than anything in a while

  The MPAA watched this and said “we’ll give you 50 gay slurs and a dozen jokes about sexual harassment and assault, but don’t you dare say shit or fuck if you want that PG-13 rating!!!!”

  Just a baddie, her three little twinks in glasses, and a need to enact numerous and gruesome forms of violence

  Got to see the uncut version of this and it’s wild to think that this film about the response to colonialism and generations of poverty ended up being a “kids just caught up in crime” movie for most audiences. 

  Really loved it tho. The tone felt like an amped up Heathers, with pearl as J.D.

  I feel so weird about all true crime shit like what is the point of any of this? Like maybe focus more on the cops and people in power who didn’t do anything despite repeated reports instead of showing me like 4 graphic scenes of women (who were based off of real life people) being murdered? Just a thought
