    And you call yourself a scientist...

    Kazuki Omori comes in swinging with Godzilla vs. Biollante. When you're given the opportunity to direct a Godzilla film, it's an opportunity to send a message, and Kazuki absolutely seizes this opportunity by the fucking nuts. "Is man truly meant to play God?" That's the question that's asked here and it's answered with a radically-brutish No. Now in the modern age, we all already know that answer, but it was a different time back…

    I'm Sorry...

    Holy Shit
    What a phenomenal movie. I had my reserves going into this. Reviews told me that there was no dialogue in this movie which is mostly correct. I figured this would be some sort of elitist avant-garde cinema piece, but hell was I wrong. This movie is art though.

    This is a film that keeps you asking questions, which in my book is a huge win. Maybe not in every case, but having your viewer ponder questions…

    Now here's a movie that is as cool as it is colorful. Annihilation is blessed with a vivid landscape of combating colors and eccentric concepts. It's certainly a bit of a slow burn but once you get into the meat of this story, you'll be absolutely enthralled by the dynamic of what they call the shimmer.
