We Live in Time 2024
The chemistry in this film was incredible, especially between Pugh/Garfield with various orange flavored desserts.
The script felt lackluster on the other hand. There was immense potential to create something horrifically gut-wrenching and its direction failed to live up to that potential. The film almost felt like a superficial attempt to recreate the same emotional turmoil as other films in the same genre.
For a story that places an emphasis on time, it often felt rushed. Which is unfortunate, since it could have been something incredible.
