Everything Everywhere All at Once 2022
I thought the negative reviews were just people being contrarian but no they are correct. I’m not against goofy over-the-top films, but I found EEAAO to be annoying. I think my aversion is mainly due to the film’s sense of humour which I don’t find very funny. Even if I put that aside, the rest of the movie is just alright. It is entertaining and has a nice, albeit simplistic, message of love. And while the multiverse concept is ambitious, it’s not very novel and could have been pushed further.
