The Lighthouse 2019
I felt mostly uncomfortable while watching this which tells me it must be at least kind of amazing? World class writing from the Eggers’ bros made the often extremely lengthy monologues pretty enjoyable and who could forget Robbo Patto and his slightly off accent work. Wouldn’t watch again but only because I wouldn’t need to.

Happy Together 1997
The most chaotic kind of love story told in the rich, vibrant way only Wong Kar Wai can. It doesn’t happen too open that form AND function show up as equals but Happy Together delivers on this. It was pretty close to a perfect film in my eyes but was just a tiny bit laboured at the end.
