After claiming I had seen this film throughout my life and finding it a touch overrated, it was clear I watched it over-casually.

After a fully engaged rewatch I really enjoyed Stand by Me, it made me laugh throughout and was incredibly impressed of the level of acting from those 4 young lads.

If anything stood the test of time, the leeches part still creeped me out.

Going entirely against the general consensus of letterboxed users opinions of this film. I absolutley loved Click and in giving it a very strong rating for the funny yet emotional roller coaster it felt like. I hadn't fully seen it growing up, only bits, after a full and proper watch it hit the feels hard.

With it's hidden message to appreciate every second and to enjoy every milestone that you or a loved one achieves really resonated with me.

Wow. What an unbelievable film. From the story telling, to the acting, to the sets, to even the score. A near perfect film really, I can't event think of any criticism. Ridley Scott has really created a masterpiece, seeing it for the first time age 25 in 2024, the usual "OMG you havent seen gladiator" is completely justified. One that absolutley hits hard too, those are usually the good ones. I was certainly entertained Maximus.

Excellent film in the most original and strange way. An great cast set out to make a film that celebrates film itself, and it does a great job doing so, but not how you would expect. The pace of this film for me was brilliant, the sets it was shot on and that music. It could have been a touch shorter and maybe side tracked just a smidge, but that ending made up for it, one of those endings where you felt you were on a journey. Really impressed. BTW Margot Robbie, wow.
