I do not get the hype of this movie. The pacing is choppy at best, and conversations at times seem like a Skyrim dialogue exchange.
Neither Lucy nor Nick are engaging protagonists to root for, and there didn’t seem to be too much buy-in from the actors. The plot’s not really there, and there’s not even too much chemistry between the characters to gel over the cracks in plot. The Broken Heart Gallery the movie is named only gets attention…

Every negative review you see for this movie is “it’s sad :(“ “it’s bleak :(“ like sorry every sci fi flick isn’t a Star Trek save-the-day feel good festival. Yeah if your spaceship gets lost in the deep nothing of space, it’s gonna get pretty dark pretty quick.
I found this film to be an amazing, beautiful, and confrontational look at society at its’ barest. The films really built in a way to make you envision yourself in the scenario, how would you act in a cataclysmic event?
A great addition to the space sci-fi collection.
