  I started getting emotional as soon as the film started. I know the 2hr 40min runtime is intimidating, but it just flew by! There were very little lulls in the film and had incredible pacing. Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo were OUTSTANDING in every aspect. Need to watch this again and cannot wait for part 2!

  Heavily focused on Bernstein’s relationship with his wife and the circumstances surrounding his marriage. However there was very little to do with his music. I do appreciate Bradley’s attempt to bring a different focus to Bernstein’s life although it would’ve been interesting to learn more about his relationship with music. Overall I thought the movie was slow and choppy in some parts but the acting was phenomenal.
