Okay - was the acting great? No. It was terrible. Was there some flawed logic used on the part of the protagonist? Yes. In fact, it was constant. However I knew going into this that this wasn’t a ~~film~~... I wanted to be scared shitless, and I got that. What can I say? I like a cheesy horror movie.

Was it clever? No. Was it entertaining? Ya. Did a naked, tramp-stamped Meryl Streep get mauled to death? Also yes.
It was long but my liberal, environmentalist ass laughed a few times, and of course, we've felt this frustration. (Also I shamelessly love Ariana and Timothee, respectively.) Plus the thought of even a couple Trump stans and climate change deniers watching this and getting roasted is a satisfying prospect 🤷🏻♀️
