Kick-Ass 2010
Kick-Ass is a perfect example of a super hero movie that moves away from what we have come to expect. The balance between humor and seriousness is perfect. It does exactly what it was meant to do, make an entertaining and captivating film while also not trying to hide the serious undertones. It reminds me almost of a teen movie version of the Daredevil series.

My Life As A Zucchini is a beautiful Swedish stop motion picture. I will forever applaud this film for the amazing direction. This film is the perfect example of the lengths a story can go with the use of stop motion. The use of stop motion gave the director the ability to keep the innocence of the characters and their perspective, while telling an emotional and dark story about young orphans.
