City of God: 10 Years Later 2013
this documentary made me so angry. the movie City of God told the stories of these kid in poor favelas and they did not profit off of the movie as they should've. 100% did not receive the acclaim and success they deserved afterwards.
very obvious that the few who were able to find careers in the acting world were lighter skinned and more privileged financially.
the people behind the film of City of God (fernando mereilles) can go fuck themselves.…
