Godzilla Minus One 2023
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
In theory the movie works as an interesting metaphor for Japan post WW2, but in practice my wife was immediately after 5 minutes into the movie 100 percent unapologetically team Godzilla and was basically complaining for 2 hours how the Japanese people have the audacity to shoot at the cute atomic giant lizard who completely annihilates their cities and then I had to get ice cream when they actually killed Godzilla because she was deeply sad about it but thank goodness the last scene shows that Godzilla is still alive so everything is fine now.
