  There was a lot of waiting for buddy  to be announced as the killer so when there was a twist there it was quite refreshing but the final twist was so evident to me almost halfway thru the film and there were other moments that were just a bit on the nose in terms of alluding to things going to happen in the plot like when the daughter talks about being 14 and in love which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but it would’ve been nicer to see that play out more delicately? Overall a good film, v nice opening shot and quite entertaining.

  Sloppy ! lazy ! boring ! yawning ! Jacob Elordi was hot though. Weird film and the plot made no sense- like Oliver didn’t have a proper motive. It was like Emerald Fennèl read people online saying eat the rich and thought oh yh this will be successful as a storyline but failed to actually execute it  so badly that the studio forced her to put crappy shock value scenes in like the bathtub to attract viewers.  talented mr Ripley but shite.
