i came for the melodrama but stayed for the moments of such revelatory intimacy. the two of them on their knees in the chapel (i see u linklater with that before sunrise record store scene) is kind of exquisite? i have seen Many cary grant movies and always love him but never have i seen him give this kind of performance. wowza!
