American Psycho 2000
IT WAS SO FUNNY I loved it. Had multiple theories going on but I like the following ones:
1) He's a massive insecure narcissist. He definitely imagined some of the stuff people said about Patrick Bateman in 3rd person.
2) The rich is so desensitized to these atrocities they do not care he committed literal murders, while the middle/lower class people reacted to his mentions of violence.
