fun, entertaining, weird, and goofy. a solid mix between the socio-political action thriller that was Snowpiercer and the stranger and more eccentric Okja. this is a strange film. hollow in its attempt to say anything remotely affecting. if the goal is to give the audience the experience of unbiased photojournalism during wartime, I find it interesting that there is even conversation HINTING at the possible reasons for all of this war. Is Garland asking the audience to not question things? To just take notice and document the horrors but not inquire more about why the horrors are happening? Why go through the efforts…
