  Second 2024 film that shows a Eurocentric view of Mexico, that was filmed entirely in a European country with barely no Mexican actors. It gets half a star more than Emilia Perez since at least this one doesn't make fun of stereotypes and tragedies like Emilia does.

  I just came here to see if someone gave this movie more than half-star and there are many people that did so, the only explanation I can think of would be that many of the cast and crew of this movie are members of letterboxd.com

  It's a shame that many of these beautiful anime films rarely get any attention from the western world, I know it's not because people don't appreciate them, but more likely because the cost to bring them over here are probably bigger than the profit they could make, considering the advertising cost for films are quite substantial.
