First going in to this i was already excited since sophie thatcher is literally one of my favourite new underrated actresses at the moment ever since i first saw her in Yellowjackets. So actually i already knew this movie from my childhood and the whole story always fascinated me. However, watching it now as an adult, it definetly lost some of the magic and excitement that once i had, i feel that this has to do with the fact that my perspective is much more aware and less impressionable as an adult, and so is also my appreciation of films- making my standards way deeper and higher when i apprecciate a film!…
