The Count of Monte Cristo 2024
I need to imprint this movie in my brain. The sound design is stellar. The SCORE is artistry unto itself. Every performance is integral and beneficial to the overall movie. I walked away in tears. This movie is proof that adaptations shouldn't be synonymous with unoriginality; this movie IS an adaptation and it is such a masterpiece that I am still and will likely continue to be in awe for weeks. I would give 10/5 stars if I could.

If i could give this TEN stars i would. i don't care what problems this movie has. i could watch it a million times and never tire of it. that i'll never again get to see these characters on screen fills me with an indescribable rage and sorrow. that being said: not even a movie-length, gay-ass ad was going to get me through the doors of a krispy kreme.
