Felt so unoriginal, like someone watched The Menu and said I can do that! But then proceeds to do it poorly.
The pacing is god awful, the moments of tension release never justified the amount (or at times lack thereof) of tension building. The dialogue was clunky and very on the nose at points. Specifically thinking about how we meet a character who’s on purpose is to tell us who Ayo’s character is and then never seen again.
Ayo is fantastic in it, which is sad to see the movie not live up to the capabilities of your lead actor.
