I could never in a million years begin to describe this movie to someone if they hadn't seen it. Ironically this actually contains very little boxing, with that portion being relegated to the beginning and near the end, with Bolo Yueng making an appearance. What follows is just a trip, spiders, mummies, bats, special effects like out of a Lucio Fulci movie and more. This is NOT for the faint of heart, do not go in expecting a classic Shaw Brothers affair. This is unlike anything else they ever made, but I can't help but dig it.

This movie is so awesome and kicks so much ass, but overall is so simple. An ex-solidier assembles a team to extract the leader of a guerilla group in Cambodia, complete with cool matching outfits. However it's not as simple as it seems and there's twists along the way. What really shines is the action and Gun-fu that had to have influenced John Woo in some way. Wild that this was a Shaw Brothers movie, but a wonderful surprise.

With a ton of different characters with similar names and a flashback that comprises most of the movie, this one got a little confusing at times. With that out of the way however, the martial arts on display were varied and choreography impressive as usual. I also liked the plot, where you're lead to believe the 10 tigers are the villains whereas the characters at the beginning are taking revenge on them.

Back at it, with the much better half of the double feature. Easily the best Hammer Mummy after the first, following a Bram Stoker story which is really cool. The lead is absolutely stunning and it might as well be called "Boobs from the Mummy's tomb". Great sets and a good cast as to be expected from this studio too.
