  This movie is period accurate beyond belief. It is the creepiest film I have seen in a theater in years, and Robert Eggers delivers a haunting experience slow burning enough to break even the strongest psyche.

  I can understand why people love this movie. I could tell right away that it’s a classic. That being said I just can’t LOVE this movie. It’s a good early weird paranormal movie in the vein of The Conjuring and the Amityville series, but it’s just a bit too much screaming and panicking for me. Again, good movie, just not my exact speed of paranormal horror.
