Tonally very odd as it goes from seemingly super serious to slapstick comedy in minutes. A few of the kills were genuinely hilarious and the monkey was hideous and creepy.

Butterfly Kisses 2018
I can't believe I never heard of this until recently. Not only a good exploration of found footage, but a good exploration of the modern filmmaking process. I'll say I didn't love the last scene (it seemed tacked on) and whoever played the film director who discovered the tapes did a great job. His descent from swarminess to madness is well done.
