Children of Men 2006
Great all around. Excellent music choices, with ‘Life In A Glasshouse’ by Radiohead was used excellently and ‘In The Court Of The Crimson King’ was brilliant.
The whole film was incredibly atmospheric and immersive and was just all around disturbing. This film also somehow strikes a balance between utter despair and brief moments of hope.Such a genuinely beautiful film and I’m not ashamed to say I teared up a bit at the end.

Holy shit.
Nothing could’ve prepared me for the twist even though in hindsight it’s clearer. Throughout the film I was guessing who’s behind it all but was still shocked by the ending. Everything up to the sound design was top notch, and was genuinely surprising when it wrapped up.Translated from by -
