  did my thing with the music and the muting on this one (because i like it simply fine at most) and i watched ripely fall as The Wolves (Parts I and II) started ramping up. david fincher please jump ship and let 20th century studios buy out your blood path to reed hastings so you can try making one of these again, justin vernon we can forget that new york times article you reposted in october 2023

  maybe I’m starving for earnestness in my diet or something but this felt miraculous to me. thinkpiece-pandering takedowns on Toxic Masculinity in shows like Ted Lasso or Bojack Horseman seem to swallow up the vast majority of oxygen in a discourse already profoundly-fixated on the subject but Iron Claw doesn’t have to contort to any bad-faith posture while undeniably delivering a straight polemic on the foolish brutality inherent in patriarchal tradition. What strikes me as singular is how elegantly Durkin delivers honest-to-god four-quadrant sentiment…
