Black Swan 2010
Once I think about this one more, I’m sure it’ll get better. The whole thing felt like a buildup to the ending, and it’s an incredible ending, but it didn’t quite have me hooked. I watched a good chunk of it comfortably in a bed, so that might’ve took away from it. Also, it’s not exactly the kind of movie to watch as a teenage boy on a crowded plane. I learned a valuable lesson, which is the worst way to watch a movie is self-consciously.

A high school movie that takes high school seriously! They’re becoming more common as the years go by. This balances the line between cheesy high school archetypes and accurate depictions of the serious mental struggles of teenagers. I should probably rewatch this not on a phone in a cramped plane with cheap earbuds, but I feel like that may have created a 4D experience. I really felt like a teen!Translated from by
