A really dreadful and dismal portrait. Maria taught me Ligaya means happiness in Tagalog and the fact Julio spent all that time searching for her, for happiness metaphoricallyโฆ. Pare.. This film doesnโt stray away from lack of hopefulness & faith, even in its budding moments. Realistically I think thatโs the most authentic way to show this scenario especially as the plot continues. Every character we meet has a short coming, theyโre all escaping from something but garner more hardships to runโฆ
