The Six Triple Eight 2024
Very one dimensional story about an all-Black battallion’s efforts during world war 2. It wasn’t that it was bad it’s just that I don’t think I’ve ever watched a war related movie and thought they needed more conflict. I’m glad that their story is being told but once again Tyler Perry’s refusal to have collaborators in the writing room (and extremely low budget sfx) hinders his ability to take a mediocre film to the next level.

As a certified Blake lively hater I’m pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the film! Everyone was acting circles around her but she did her best, bless!!
