A Quiet Place Part II 2020

At least it's short.
This entire movie is about setting up the third film. Krasinski does a good job of ratcheting up the tension, but it all leads to a massive anticlimax where everyone survives against literally all the odds. Cillian Murphy was a great addition to the cast, however. Overall, it doesn't quite have the magic of the first film, but feels like the cheap Chinese bootleg of thay film that you buy from your buddy Dave in the pub.

Even if he was an Olympic powerlifter on steroids, Pedro Pascal could not carry this movie enough. It just doesn't make sense, even if I try drinking myself down to the level of stupid that whoever wrote this flaming garbage dumpster of a script was at.
