Cary Grant is a monster actor, the essence of cool. This jam was James Bond before James Bond and it’s an awesome story. Fair warning the ending is wildly lazy, everyone says it’s a Hitchcock ending but I call that being lazy as shit. Right at the climax the movie just ENDS, like abruptly, like before you even know what’s happening the bitch is over and you’re like the rest of the movie was immaculate so I’ll let it slide but wtf was the end.

The Best Years of Our Lives 1946
As a vet this movie captures something I can resonate with in no matter what branch and no matter what military dudes are going to get together no matter the background and drink ourselves stupid. On a real note it goes into ptsd and post war civilian life, another relatable thing and it’s done so beautifully well. Even if you’re not a vet you’ll enjoy this movie. The main characters are an absolute bombshell cast and they’re individual stories are phenomenal

There Will Be Blood 2007
In my opinion this movie is a little overrated. Great imagery and soundtrack but it’s just the dialogue and the combination of the priest/oilmans characters that I just can’t stand. The dialogue and plot is more annoying than anything to me and I’m really not sure why. There’s also a big jump before the “I drink your milkshake” line that once again just has dialogue that doesn’t really work for me. Ton of people love this but I can’t give it more than 3 stars because the story just isn’t worth it for me.
