The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies 2014
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I remembered it being bad, but revisiting it was upsetting. Could’ve been good if about 90 minutes was trimmed out. Jarring changes between the normal camera and the ultra high res 3D shots. The scene where Legolas runs on falling rocks, the full CGI dwarf, the Thorin hallucination with the pool of gold, all that shit with Galadriel and Saruman, what the hell was going on with this? Truly the Phantom Menace of the LOTR series.
