Quite possibly the worst looking my film I have ever seen. The CGI is for the most part terrible. All the lighting is overexposed and the shots look straight out of a CW episode. Takes no risk with its story, could have predicted the entire thing from the beginning accompanied by the worst “supervillain” ever put to screen.

Suspiria 1977
Don’t understand the ratings for this film. I can see the appeal in the lighting, cinematography and batshit insane soundtrack, however Suspiria fails to deliver on almost every other level. The acting is atrocious, I didn’t go into his with high expectations, but Jesus (the terrible dubbing doesn’t help either). The film really values style over substance but when the narrative is this poor the style fails to hold the film up on it’s own. Only thing scary about this film is the sound mixing.

Horrific dialogue and sub par acting. TJ miller delivering the second worst performance of his career after the emoji movie doesn’t help either. Opening sequence is cringe enduring and contains some of the most horrendous dialogue exchanges in human history. However the film also has some solid horror scenes during the second act and the finale is touching.
