Kinds of Kindness 2024
The film explores how far one can push the boundaries of belonging, the impact of power and manipulation on individuals, and the concept of submitting to authority. While watching, I felt a sense of "so what?" and wasn't deeply moved. It was a classic Yorgos film, questioning human nature and ethical values in his unique style, but after "Poor Things," it felt somewhat underwhelming.
