Marriage Story 2019
They should have titled it Divorce Story but alas, no one would have wanted to watch it under that title. The acting was good, great in maybe two scenes. The cinematography was very good. The writing was ok. The directing was fine. This movie tried way to hard. There were multiple scenes where it wanted a reaction and it tried to draw it out of a person. I think it was written the the end result in mind. I don’t believe there was an actual story, just a desire to complete the movie one way. Be cautious while watching.
