  Yeah that was incredible. I don’t love the lack of emotionality that the story of Dune naturally has, so I prefer others epics like Lord of the Rings. But people who love stories like this are very valid in saying this is one of the best movies they’ve ever seen. At the end of the day it’s all subjective. 90/100.

  Flawed, but really really happy I saw American Fiction. Not surprised Jeffery Wright and Sterling got nominations for this, and I really enjoyed the film. Emotional, funny, and paced pretty well. Should have at least a 3.9 on here. My #6 out of the 18 2023 films I’ve seen. 86/100.
