Jeff Who Lives At Home has an entertaining story inside somewhere that never actually comes out. It's also boring beyond belief.
This is easily the proof of what a great movie can be in storytelling, visual effects and controversy. Pleasantville makes a way to tell a story of sex, oppression, fear and controversy in an enjoyable and entertaining package. The performances are fantastic and the movie finds a way to tell a deep story with undertones while still being an enjoyable flick. It's two movies in one.
An enjoyable, A-list cast, crime caper that is bright and colorful. The characters are enjoyable and the excitement of a well-produced heist adventure makes this well rounded and popcorn worthy.
Unwatchable. There's some attempt to create a character that ultimately falls apart within minutes. In a world of epic comic book inspired films, this one misses the mark by miles.
