a mature look back at the height of norwegian black metal narrated entirely by its prominent artists in their native language. nothing insanely new here but it was really nicely, respectfully and comprehensively done; it touches upon the crazy stuff with mayhem but never becomes sensationalist (i really appreciated the segments with pelle’s brother and his thoughts on the incident & black metal as a whole). i’d definitely recommend it to anyone unfamiliar with the genre.Translated from by
