Should’ve known this was from the director of Angel’s Egg. Then I would’ve known a bit more what to expect. I think I got most of the story, but I just came out of it a little confused. This movie explains almost nothing substantial to the audience, which can be both a blessing and a curse. The animation was mostly great, and the music was nice, if used oddly in a few places.  I should probably watch it again now that I know what it’s going for, and maybe that’ll change my opinion. For now though, interesting and pretty, but headache-inducing and messy at points. 6/10.
