  Mirror 1975

  This film exists on an entirely different plane—somewhere lunar, intangible, unreachable. Mirror is surreal to the point of incomprehensibility, a puzzle that remains unsolved no matter how many times you revisit it. Five viewings wouldn’t suffice. A ten-page essay on an obscure film blog did not bring me clarity. There’s an abyss between what Tarkovsky conveys and what my mind can fully grasp.

  And yet, in the middle of the movie, he slips in a line—almost as if addressing ME…

  We are talking here of an artisan banger qui ma laisse comme as 😦🤔🤯:

  First, Sandra Huller’s acting is incredible especially in that marriage story type of scene.

  Second, the pace mirrored by the haunting piano which is the only music i can remember is craaazy.  It thrives on a rhythm that mirrors the complex, yet profoundly beautiful, disruptions and repetitions of Chopin's fourth prelude (artisan banger ce morceau btw).
