  Everybody’s got a kink. 

  i feel several ways about this. on the one hand, we all need to laugh right now. and laugh i did. i like rom coms and i love slashers, so the genre mesh was fun. the kills were pretty solid (though could’ve done with more), and the performances were solid. nice to see devon sawa.

  SO grateful i didn’t have to sit through yet another the-monster-is-grief specials. thank you, steven. 

  sound design crazy. the presence shakies were quite satisfying. cinematography clearly great and the style worked for me mostly but i do think smoothing some of that camera stabilization would’ve gone a long way.

  also, chris sullivan best supporting actor nom from me. 

  if you’re saying this isn’t horror, shut up 🫶🏼 you don’t have to like it or find it scary personally, but that doesn’t mean it’s not horror.
