this has always been a really cute and charming, maybe undervalued slasher flick.

i feel several ways about this. on the one hand, we all need to laugh right now. and laugh i did. i like rom coms and i love slashers, so the genre mesh was fun. the kills were pretty solid (though could’ve done with more), and the performances were solid. nice to see devon sawa.

sound design crazy. the presence shakies were quite satisfying. cinematography clearly great and the style worked for me mostly but i do think smoothing some of that camera stabilization would’ve gone a long way.
