Elephant is an interesting film. While I wasn't expecting a shoot-em-up action film, I certainly wasn't expecting this either.
The pacing was unbelievably slow. There were many shots of the back of a character's head slowly moving down the corridors, possibly to an event that we've already seen.
A two minute long shot of clouds just before the two shooters wake up (What was that about?? It seems a bit like padding)

It's just another (rather predictable) Disney film.
The French take the typical High School Musical, Good vs Evil plot and gives it an incredibly wacky twist. When The Master gets re-incarnated the school starts to go into this Nazi Germany esque theme and wonder whether the underdogs are the right team to be backing after all, and makes for an interesting viewing experience.
Another thing to watch out for is the half-French, half-English language used in the film which at times makes it hard to follow.
