I rewatched this and it’s just as good if not a little bit better but Robert Eggers really is that guy because the blocking, cinematography and lighting are all top notch and it’s so impressive; its unfortunate this and challengers got snubbed so hard bc bill skarsgard and lily rose depp deserved a nomination atleast ngl

okay sure this movie has its issues no doubt but i would be lying if i said i didn’t like this but lemme explain, first off the opening scene with the crew and the mosasaurus is just perfection simply put, next i get that cheap nostalgia can be irritating but if star wars and marvel can get away with it so can jurassic world. i bawled at the brachiosaurus getting left behind i don’t know what that says about me…
