A Complete Unknown 2024
Loved the vibe of New York in the 60s! I wish I could go back in time and live there for a few months. Giving this a 3.5 because it was extremely difficult for me to get into Timmy’s character. The voice he was doing to mimic bob dylan just felt like a really long SNL skit. I would burst out laughing at times. Although i respect the major media tour that Timmy’s on right now as he campaigns for an Oscar, all the media attention he’s been getting made it very difficult to separate the actor from the character for this film.

I love a good musical and this one was spectacular. However I was very upset by the lack of color in the movie. Oz is supposed to be bright and wild and this was more beige millennial. Otherwise the acting, singing, and character development was great. Love to see Ariana getting the credit she deserves as well.
