from a human development perspective, adolescence was so beautifully done. it portrayed the struggles of growing up in today’s world so well, especially with the false portrayals on media and how it affects young people. the one-take episodes had me emotionally invested in the story from the very beginning. the episodes and the perspectives portrayed from the police, the therapist, Jamie, and his family brought the whole story together, helping the viewer piece together the intricacies of family life and adolescence.
