okay so we'll start by mentioning the orientalism and racism, because it does make itself apparent instantly. it's not awesome. in a similar vein, willie's character - shrill sex-object - is also not awesome. nevertheless, this certainly fits the genre.
despitw this, i remain so highly amused by the pulpy nonsense i had the privilege of absorbing for the entirety of the movie's run time. the action-comedy genre nowadays cannot compete.
