Conclave 2024
Conclave was visually beautiful, perfectly scored, and had an Oscar-worthy (deserving) performance from Ralph Fiennes.
However, I felt like the final act was slightly cheesy and predictable. I loved the suspense throughout the film, only for the big revelations to fall flat for me. That twist at the end was...pointless??? and not impactful at all. Overall, I deeply enjoyed this movie but was left feeling underwhelmed when it mattered the most.
Still a solid 3.5 for me! Which I think is a testament to the film's overall artistry.
