  Even the tiniest proof of true love outweighed the sum of all human atrocities. Cameron is looking sap straight in the face and that might turn people off- the aliens are effervescent periwinkle fairy types, the score is airy and orchestral. The whole alien plot feels starkly opposed to the grit of the traditional action sequences, but I welcomed the contrast. You wouldn’t want an all spinach salad, you would throw in a raspberry vinaigrette or something. The bisexual colored empath aliens are that vinaigrette.

  Oops all pulp! 

  Thunder booms, lighting cracks, DeNiro walks out of prison and straight into the camera—and from that moment on you’re treated to 2 of the most melodramatic hours ever put to screen. Endless camp to appreciate from Marty using whip cracks to accompany his whip pans, Lacoste sweater vests, the United States Justice system 🤪
